I am back from my week away in the North of England. I feared I would have no internet and I was right. Nothing. Good in some ways but bad in others. I will be catching up with you all as soon as I can.
Well it was another difficult week for photography with either rain with flat grey skies or bright and sunny with no clouds at all.
It has been cold and clear on some days. I drove up into the Cheviot Hills and it all became a little bit Ice Road Truckers with the final seven miles of my drive being, more or less, on ice. It was very exciting on narrow twisting roads. I managed a couple of pictures out there but was mainly concentrating on not falling off the edges of the hilly bits.
I revisited a few old favourites like Dunstanburgh Castle, Bamburgh Castle, Lindisfarne and Edinburgh. I also went to see Alnwick Castle which is Hogwarts. A good relaxing week and now my friends I must start catching up.
Always good to go away and always good to be home again
